Hi, I'm Marissa.

I am Marissa Coorengel, software developer and AI specialist with a master's background in Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence from Utrecht University of Applied Sciences.

My interest lies in developing technology that is not only innovative but also thoughtfully and responsibly applied. During my graduation internship at Orq.AI, I researched speech-to-text guardrails and evaluators for AI agents. There, I delved into the reliability, safety, and checkability of AI systems — topics essential for the sustainable use of AI.

Besides my academic background, I have extensive practical experience as a software developer. At Dockler B.V., I worked on the development of a scalable SaaS application. As a freelancer, I help organizations build and improve web applications and integrate AI functionalities within existing systems.

What characterizes me is that I look beyond just the technology. I think along about scalability, user-friendliness, and the impact on the end-user.

I believe technology is most valuable when it enhances human capabilities, and that intersection is where I love to work most.
